The Wieser Family and the Goldener Löwe
Since 1962, the family Wieser has been operating the historic 3-star Goldener Löwe hotel in Silandro. Two generations working together each day with great passion, to offer excellent service and warm hospitality. The art of welcoming is a natural gift of the owner Markus and his wife Monika, whom you will also meet at the reception area. They are constantly in touch with guests, as well as may of the local townsfolk. In fact, Goldener Löwe is still a popular meeting place to exchange interesting anecdotes about the rural life in good company and it is not uncommon for Silandro’s tourists and citizens to sit down together at a table and sip a good glass of wine. That is how an authentic holiday in South Tyrol should be.
